The UC Degree Completion Program focuses on your specific needs and goals. Some of the services and support we offer include:
- Academic advising
- Career counseling
- Access to unique course pathways to help address the various barriers that may have prevented you from successfully completing your degree
- Readmission assistance
- Up to $500 to assist with educational expenses, such as:
- A UC Davis “Open Campus” course to aid your readmission
- A professional certificate through UC Davis Continuing and Professional Education
- Payment of past fees owed to UC Davis, such as tuition, library fees, and parking fines (pending eligibility)
Our Degree Completion Advisors will be with you every step of the way, providing the services, support and encouragement you need based on your unique situation:
I am a UC re-entry student
- I left the university in good academic standing (for example 2.0 or above overall and last quarter GPA)
- We can provide you with:
- A personal degree audit that will remind you of what courses you are required to take in order to complete your degree
- Advising about dates, deadlines, financial aid, and other top student concerns when planning to restart your degree
- You may be eligible for up to $500 to assist with educational expenses (pending eligibility)
- A waiver for the ~$70 UC readmission fee
- A review of any holds on your record and support navigating the university system to have them removed
- Support to access the courses required for your degree that you can take while awaiting your return to full-time studies through Open Campus
- Access to online orientation information to prepare you for your transition to UC Davis
- Tutoring services to help ensure your success while taking any courses through Open Campus before you complete your readmission process
- Help identifying resources—from childcare to scholarship opportunities—to support you on your journey
- Advisors that care about supporting you in meeting your personal, academic and professional goals
- We can provide you with:
- I did not leave the university in good academic standing (for example, your quarter or overall UC GPA was
below 2.0 )
- We can provide you with:
- Connecting you to your Dean's Office advisor who can guide you in exactly what courses are needed in order to meet readmission conditions and return to UC Davis
- Pathway options to complete your required courses via Open Campus, California community colleges or another UC
- You may be eligible for up to $500 to assist with educational expenses (pending eligibility)
- A waiver for the ~$70 UC readmission fee
- A review of any holds on your record and support navigating the university system to have them removed

- You may be eligible for up to $500 to assist with educational expenses
- Support to access the courses required for a degree that you can take while awaiting your return to full-time studies through Open Campus
- Tutoring services to help ensure your success while taking any courses through Open Campus before you complete your readmission process
- Access to online orientation information to prepare you for university life
- Help identifying resources—from childcare to scholarship opportunities—to support you on this complicated journey
